The Story Behind The Candy Cane

Do you know the story behind the candy cane?

First of all, your holding it wrong. It’s not a cane, it’s a “J.”

Many years ago a candy maker wanted to make a candy that would symbolize the true meaning of Christmas – Jesus Christ.

The hard candy was shaped like a “J” – for Jesus. The candy was made white to symbolize the pureness of Jesus, and red to symbolize the blood that Jesus shed on the cross to save us from our sins.
